Our Web Design Portfolio

Welcome to the Martc Tech Solutions web design portfolio: recent website projects for construction, hospitality and restaurant businesses. Each one is designed to present the business clearly and make it easy for customers to get in touch.

What You Will Find in Our Web Design Portfolio

Every project in this web design portfolio starts with the same question: what does a visitor need to see before they call, book or buy? For a construction company that means clear services and an easy way to request a quote. For a hotel it means great room photos, prices and a simple way to check availability. For a restaurant it means a menu that is easy to read on a phone and a quick way to reserve a table.

Below you will find the objective behind each website, the design approach we took and the key features we built. Where a public version of the website is available, you can open it and explore it yourself.

Screenshots show each website as it looked when it was completed. Live websites can change over time as their owners add new content, photos and prices, which is exactly what a good website should allow them to do.

What these projects have in common is a focus on the visitor. Each web design starts with the questions a customer asks before they get in touch, then organises the pages so those answers are easy to find. The colours, fonts and photos change from one business to the next, but that underlying approach stays the same, and it is the part of our web design work we are most careful about.

Kasama Constructions

Project objective

Establish a strong online presence for a construction company, showcase its services and turn visitors into quote requests.

What was built

A modern, responsive website with a clean interface, engaging visuals, clear service sections and well-placed calls to action, optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile.

Design approach

The homepage opens with a bold headline, “Building the Future with Strength, Precision & Trust”, over a photo of a modern building. Bright yellow buttons for requesting a quote stand out against the deep blue design, and a free consultation phone number sits in the top bar so visitors can call straight away. Short service sections and social links make the company easy to understand and contact.

Industries Covered in Our Web Design Portfolio

Different industries need different things from a website. Here is how our web design approach changes for each type of business.

Hotels, lodges and guesthouses

Guests want to see the rooms, understand the price and check availability without friction. Hospitality web design focuses on large, honest photos, clear room details, a booking-ready layout and WhatsApp buttons for quick questions before guests commit.

Restaurants and cafes

Hungry visitors are usually on a phone and in a hurry. Restaurant web design puts the menu, prices, opening hours, location and a reservation button within one or two taps, with food photography that makes people want to visit.

Construction and engineering

Clients choosing a contractor look for proof of capability and professionalism. Construction web design highlights services, completed work and credentials, and makes requesting a quote as simple as possible.

We also design websites for professional services, shops and start-ups. Whatever the industry, the goal is the same: a clear, fast website that answers customers’ questions and makes the next step obvious.

If your industry is not listed here, that is not a problem. Good web design principles apply to every business, and we will spend time understanding how your customers choose, compare and contact businesses like yours before we plan a single page.

As our web design portfolio grows, we will keep adding projects from new industries. If you would like to see an example that is closer to your own business, ask us and we will share relevant work where the owner has agreed to it.

What Makes a Strong Business Website?

The same principles run through every project in our portfolio, whatever the industry.

A clear first impression

Visitors decide within seconds whether they are in the right place. A strong headline that says what you do and where you do it, supported by a real photo, answers that question immediately.

Designed for phones first

Most customers in Zambia browse on their phones, often on mobile data. Every layout is checked on small screens, with readable text, large buttons and images that load quickly.

Easy ways to make contact

WhatsApp buttons, tap-to-call phone numbers, quote forms and booking bars are placed where visitors need them, so nobody has to search for a way to get in touch.

Real content that builds trust

Real rooms, real food, real projects and real prices build far more trust than stock images and vague claims. We plan each page around genuine information about the business.

Fast and search-friendly

Clean page structure, descriptive headings and compressed images help pages load quickly and give search engines a clear picture of what the business offers. You can test any page with PageSpeed Insights.

Easy to update

Each website is built on WordPress, so menus, prices, photos and opening hours can be updated without starting again as the business grows and changes.

Design Details We Pay Attention To

Small details make the difference between a website that looks good and one that works. These are some of the web design details behind every project in our portfolio.

Readable typography

Clear fonts at comfortable sizes, generous line spacing and short paragraphs make text easy to read on small screens and in bright sunlight.

Colour and contrast

Brand colours are used with enough contrast that buttons and text stay readable for everyone, including visitors with weaker eyesight.

Button placement

The most important action on each page, such as booking, requesting a quote or sending a WhatsApp message, is always easy to find and easy to tap.

Image quality and size

Photos are cropped to show what matters and compressed so they stay sharp without slowing the page down on mobile data.

Consistent layouts

Repeating patterns for cards, headings and spacing help visitors understand each page quickly and make the whole website feel professional.

Accessible navigation

Menus work with a keyboard and on touch screens, links have visible focus states, and images include descriptive alternative text.

None of these details are visible on their own, but together they are what makes good web design feel effortless to use. They are also why a website that looks simple often takes careful planning to build.

How Each Portfolio Project Comes Together

Behind every website in our web design portfolio is the same simple, collaborative process.

01

Understand the business

We learn what the business does, who its customers are and what the website must achieve, from quote requests to bookings or table reservations.

02

Plan the pages

We agree the pages, features and content needed, and share a clear quotation before any design work begins.

03

Design and refine

We design the key pages, gather feedback and refine the layout, colours and wording until everything feels right.

04

Build, test and launch

We build the website in WordPress, check it on phones, tablets and desktops, then launch it and stay available for support.

What Is Included in Every Website We Build

Each project in the portfolio is different, but every website design includes the same essentials.

Optional extras such as online booking, e-commerce, a blog, domain and hosting setup, business email and ongoing maintenance can be added to suit your business. See our web design services for the full list.

Before launch, every page is checked on real screen sizes, forms are tested so enquiries reach you, and the basic SEO settings are in place so search engines can understand your website from day one.

Planning a Website of Your Own?

If a project in this web design portfolio looks close to what you need, the best next step is a short conversation. Before you get in touch, it helps to think about a few simple questions:

  1. What should visitors do? Call you, send a WhatsApp message, request a quote, book a room or reserve a table?
  2. Which pages do you need? Most small businesses start with a homepage, services, about, gallery or portfolio, and contact page.
  3. What content do you already have? Your logo, photos, price lists and a short description of your business all speed things up.
  4. Which websites do you like? Links to a few websites you admire help us understand the style you prefer.

Do not worry if you do not have every answer yet. We will guide you through each decision and send a clear, free quotation for your web design project.

It also helps to think about timing. If your website needs to be ready for a new season, an opening date or a marketing campaign, mention it in your first message. Knowing your deadline early lets us plan the pages, content and feedback rounds so there is enough time to get every detail right before launch, rather than rushing the final steps.

When you are ready, send a WhatsApp message or use our contact form. Share the type of business you run, the pages you think you need and any websites you like, and we will take it from there together.

We build with WordPress and Elementor and design each layout around your content, colours and goals, rather than dropping your text into an unchanged template.

It depends on the number of pages, the features involved and how quickly content and feedback are ready. We will give you an estimated timeline with your quotation.

Only with your permission. Some clients are happy for their website to be shown here, while others prefer to keep their project private, and both are fine.

A short description of your business, the pages and features you want, your logo and any photos or text you already have. Links to websites you like are helpful too. We will guide you through anything that is missing.
